The Challenge

Spill risk does not arrive in a single form. A catastrophic offshore release demands hundreds of thousands of feet of containment boom within weeks. A working port terminal demands impermeable liner systems installed around active rail, vessel, and container operations without shutting them down. Both problems require the same underlying competency — large-format welded fabric that will not leak — delivered under very different constraints.

Our Solution

SaintX built its spill practice around one manufacturing capability applied across mission types. During the 2010 Gulf response, the company rapidly scaled RF-welding operations to produce over 200,000 linear feet of oil containment boom under contract, drawing on a deep specialty supply chain to meet emergency timelines. That same welded-fabric expertise now supports engineered containment for port terminals and marine operators: large-area geomembrane liner systems, dockside containment for vessel operations, and portable berms that deploy in minutes without tools or fasteners.
